Don’t worry yourself sick.

Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Matthew 6:27, NIV.
Is there something that you are worrying about today? To worry means to allow something to revolve in your mind over and over again. God doesn’t want you to live worried or anxious about anything. He knows that worry steals your peace and joy. It affects every area of your life. Have you heard the saying, “Don’t worry yourself sick?” That’s because worrying affects your physical body. It affects your sleep. You won’t ever gain anything by worrying; in fact, you’ll lose precious moments that you can never get back again. The good news is that God has promised that you can have victory over worry. It starts by making the choice to trust in Him. When you cast your cares on Him, He will give you His peace.
Decide today to put an end to worry in your life. Choose to feed your faith and fill your mind with God’s promises. As you focus on God’s Word, you’ll drive out worry and fill your heart with faith and expectancy; and you’ll be empowered to move forward into the life of blessing He has in store for you!

Patience.

Do not isolate thyself.

Think about the caterpillar before it becomes a butterfly. When it’s wrapped in its dark cocoon on the backside of some tree, it doesn’t look like it has many options. But inside that cocoon as it becomes a butterfly, it doesn’t just sit and wait for someone to come and let it out. No, that butterfly knows that it has to make a move if it’s going to be set free to fly. In the same way, we have to do something to get out of the confining places we are in. We have to pray, we have to take a step of faith, we have to believe, and we have to press through to victory.

Quit Self-Pity-Party.

The next time you feel like God can’t use you,
just remember………..
Noah was a drunk
Abraham was too old
Isaac was a daydreamer
Jacob was a liar
Leah was ugly
Joseph was abused
Moses had a stuttering problem
Gideon was afraid
Samson had long hair and was a womanizer
Rahab was a prostitute
Jeremiah and Timothy were too young
David had an affair and was a murderer
Elijah was suicidal
Isaiah preached naked
Jonah ran from God
Naomi was a widow
Job went bankrupt
John the Baptist ate bugs
Peter denied Christ
The Disciples fell asleep while praying
Martha worried about everything
The Samaritan woman was divorced, more than once
Zaccheus was too small
Paul was too religious
Timothy had an ulcer

…AND
Lazarus was dead!
Now, no more excuses.
God can use you to your full potential.
Besides you aren’t the message,
You are just the messenger.

One Direction.

“In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths” (Proverbs 3:6, NKJ)
Do you need direction in your life? Ask yourself, “Am I acknowledging God in all my ways?” In other words, is He first place in your life? All throughout the day, we should be acknowledging God, asking for His help, seeking His wisdom, obeying His commands and thanking Him for His goodness.

In the morning, we should wake up and say, “Father, thank You for another beautiful day. I commit this day, my plans and my future into Your hands.” When you start the day like this, you are acknowledging God. He promises to crown your day with success. When you are driving on the freeway say, “Father, thank You for keeping me safe.” At the office say, “Lord, help me to be focused and productive today.” At home, “Father, bless my children.” Before you go to bed, “Lord, thank You for a good night’s rest.” When you’re acknowledging Him in all your ways, He promises to direct your paths. He promises to lead and guide you into paths of peace, joy
and everlasting life!

A Blessed New Life.

“We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28, NIV)
No matter what you may be facing, no matter what trial you may be going through, God has a plan to turn things around in your favor. He is working behind the scenes, and He is working for your good!
Are you a believer in Jesus? Do you love Him? Then you are called according to His purposes. Right now, He is orchestrating the right people to come across your path. Right now, He is orchestrating the right opportunities to open up to you. Right now, He is arranging things in your favor. You may not see it in the natural, but look with your eyes of faith today. Show your love for the Father by obeying His Word. Come before Him with an open and humble heart and trust that He is guiding you. Keep standing. Keep believing. Keep hoping. Keep declaring His Word and meditating on His goodness, knowing that He rewards the people who seek after Him!

FOCUS or REFOCUS.

Dream. Hope. Faith. Believe.

When was the last time you imagined God doing something supernatural in your life? Is there a relationship that needs restoration? Is there a business you’ve wanted to start, but you are holding back? If there were no limitations on your life, if anything were possible, what would you be willing to imagine?
Friend, the only limits on your life are the limits you have in your mind, and God wants to do exceedingly more than you can even imagine today! He wants to overwhelm you with His goodness and amaze you with His faithfulness. But in order for Him to exceed what you’ve imagined, you have to at least be imagining something! Why don’t you take a step of faith today and let your imagination come to life? Begin to see in your mind all the possibilities for your future. Meditate on the amazing things God has done throughout history. Let that seed of faith take root in your heart. Hold on to His promises because He is faithful. He is able to exceed your expectations and go beyond what you can imagine today!

Encouragement.

If you’ve spent your days focused on how things won’t work, it’s time to focus on how things will work out! It doesn’t matter how bad it looks, how many people have told you no, or how long it’s been that way, God has the final say. It’s not over till God says it’s over. Shake off the self-pity. Shake off the disappointment. Let go of the old and choose to believe Him. Declare His promises over your life and see His blessing and victory as you align yourself with Him!

GOD is BIG.

Everyone goes through seasons when the challenges of life feel overwhelming. During these times, it’s easy to be tempted to talk about how bad things are. Maybe you are facing a situation right now that looks impossible. Don’t get discouraged and give up because God wants to do something awesome in your life. Instead of talking to God about how big your problems are, talk to your problems about how big your God is. Be bold and start speaking words of faith to that situation. Every day say, “Father, thank you for turning this around. Thank You for making a way even though I don’t see a way. Lord, thank you for doing remarkable, astounding, and overwhelming things.” When you release your faith like that, you’ll see God show up and do amazing things that you’ve never seen happen before!
Remember, even if you don’t see how things could ever work out, God does. Just do your part and keep speaking to those mountains in your life. Declare faith over those situations and get ready to move forward in the victory and blessing God has prepared for you!

New Life for you. Amen!

Today, I declare blessing over you—that you are strong and courageous. You are full of talent, creativity, and wisdom. You can accomplish your God-given dreams. You walk in divine health. You have favor with every person you meet. Everything you touch is going to prosper and succeed. Those seeds of greatness on the inside of you are growing stronger and stronger. That hidden treasure is about to burst forth and you’re going to come in to new seasons of increase, new seasons of favor, new seasons of God’s blessings! You are who God says you are. You have what God says you have. And I declare you can do everything God says you can do, in Jesus’ name, amen!

Calm me down.

Have you ever felt overwhelmed or afraid of what God has called you to do? Maybe you pursued a dream or goal in the past and things didn’t turn out the way you planned. Now you’re uncertain of the future.
In the Bible, Joseph had planned to take Mary as his wife, but when he found out she was pregnant, he didn’t know what to think. He was afraid that he might be making a mistake because things didn’t turn out the way he planned. But God in His graciousness sent an angel in a dream to reassure Joseph that he was on the right path.
Today let me reassure you that God knows right where you are, and He knows how to get you where you need to be. Even when things don’t go the way you planned, His hand is on you. Do not be afraid. Trust that God is working behind the scenes on your behalf, that He will fulfill your dreams and lead you into the life of blessing that He has prepared for you.

Breathe in, Breathe out.

“Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life” (Proverbs 4:23 AMP).
When something is toxic, it’s poisonous; it can destroy you. When we go around dwelling on the wrong thoughts, thinking about what we can’t do or how we’ll never get ahead, those thoughts are toxic thoughts. Toxic thoughts left alone become like toxic waste that sinks into your heart. It will eventually contaminate your whole life. It affects your self-image. It affects your attitude, your level of confidence, and ultimately, your success. That’s why the scripture says to guard your heart because the condition of your heart and mind determine the condition of your whole life.
Make the decision today to detox any negative, self-defeating thoughts by meditating on God’s promises instead. Make the decision to detox bitterness, detox low self-esteem, detox negative words that may have been spoken over you, detox condemnation. Make the decision to dwell on what God says about you. God says, “You are forgiven.” God says, “Your best days are in front of you.” God says, “I’ll restore the years that the enemy has stolen.” As you detox your mind and fill your thoughts with His promises, you’ll see His hand of blessing on your life. You’ll rise up higher, and you’ll live the abundant life He has for you!

Devotion

” You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised” (Hebrews 10:36, NIV).
God loves persistence. He honors diligence. When you diligently do the will of God, obeying His Word and following His commands, it’s like knocking on the door of His promises. He is faithful, and He will open that door! Maybe you’re already doing all you know to do today—don’t give up! Perseverance will carry you to the promise. Perseverance keeps on asking and keeps on knocking. Perseverance looks away from discouragement and distractions and keeps looking toward God. It has a voice that says things like, “No weapon formed against me shall prosper! I know God is for me! I am more than a conqueror through Jesus!”
Today, stay faithful to follow God’s Word, and remember, every step of obedience is another knock on the door of His promises! He will hear you, and He will answer. He will open up doors that no man can shut and lead you into the life of victory He has prepared for you!

Never let Fear CHEAT your Dreams. God is Bigger than whatever you are thinking or feeling. It may be very hard to understand the situation but TRUST GOD. Absolutely, there will be no "figure it out."  Let His Power that is In-Work within us just manifest; Let God, as He pleases, work in our behalf.
             -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him” (1 Corinthians 2:9, NKJV)
One thing I’ve learned is that you cannot out dream God. When God brings a dream to pass that He’s placed in your heart, it’s going to be greater than you ever imagined. It’s going to be bigger, better and more rewarding. You could say: God’s going to supersize your dream!
Your dream may be to just get well, to be able to get around like you used to. That’s good, but God thinks bigger. When He supersizes that dream, you’ll not only be able to walk, you’ll be able to run! Your dream may be to just keep your marriage together. But God’s dream is to make your marriage happier and more fulfilling that it’s ever been before. Your dream may be to just pay your bills each month, but God’s dream is to give you an abundance so that you not only have enough for your needs, but you have money left over to be a blessing to other people! Today, have faith in God. Trust Him because He has good plans for you, and He is ready to supersize your dreams!

So, NEVER SAY NEVER.

“When darkness overtakes the godly, light will come bursting in” (Psalm 112:4, NLT)
Everyone goes through seasons of difficulty or times when things just seem dark. During these challenging times, know that you are not alone. God has a plan to drive out the darkness — He will flood you with His light! Notice that in today’s verse it doesn’t say, “The light will come trickling in.” No, it says that the light will come bursting in! That means suddenly, you will see God’s goodness. Suddenly, you’ll be promoted. Suddenly, the answer will come!
If you’ve been going through a difficult time, get ready for the goodness of God in a new way. Know that His light is about to come bursting in! Get ready for breakthroughs. Get ready for promotion. Get ready for restoration. You may have had that problem for a long, long time, but today could be the day that it turns around. Suddenly, things can change! God wants His glory to be seen on you. He wants you to stand out in the crowd. He wants you to be so blessed that everyone around you can see His goodness on you!
So keep standing, keep believing, keep hoping and keep declaring His Word because His light is going to come bursting in!

Do not wish yourself away. You are blessed!

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well” (Psalm 139:14, NIV)
Did you know that when you compare yourself to others or wish you were like someone else, it’s like saying He just didn’t do a good job? It’s actually saying, “God, why did You make me subpar? Why did You make me less than?” Realize today, God didn’t make anyone inferior. He didn’t make any person second class. No, you are a masterpiece! You are fully loaded and totally equipped for the race that’s been designed for you!
Today, let your attitude be, “I may not look like someone else or have the job that someone else has. That’s okay. Nobody will ever be a better me. I’m anointed to be me. I’m equipped to be me!” Remember, it’s easy to do what you are equipped to do. Don’t fall into the trap of trying to be like someone else. Accept who God made you to be and embrace the good things He has prepared for you!

Dreams. Desires.

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s
womb.” (Psalm 139:13)

You are a person of destiny! God chose you to be here before the
foundation of the world. God knew you before you were ever formed in
your mother’s womb. God made you with a purpose and you are a vital
part of His divine plan!
You may not even realize it right now, but you have God-given dreams
and desires inside of you. The dream starts as a little flame and
throughout life, you have to constantly add fuel to the fire to help
it grow. As you continue to fellowship with Him and with fellow
believers in your church home or small group study, God will reveal
Himself to you in ways you never thought possible. He will reveal the
dreams in your heart, and bring them to pass!

God knows best.

That setback, disappointment or betrayal that seems like it’s working against you, God knows how to turn it around and cause it to work for you. The key is that when you’re in difficult times, don’t settle where you are. Don’t put your roots down and think that things are never going to change. No, for every setback, God has already lined up a comeback. For every injustice, He has vindication. For every disappointment, He has restoration. Right now, just begin to thank Him for what He’s going to do. Praise Him for His faithfulness. Rejoice today because He has a plan to bring you into a flourishing finish!

God's grace is bigger than your mistakes.

We have to realize—our mistakes aren’t that powerful. Our mistakes aren’t too big for God. He’s not up in the heavens shaking His head saying, “I never dreamed they would do that. They’ve ruined My plan.” No, God knew every mistake we would ever make. He knew every wrong turn, and He’s already prepared a new route. He already has your detour figured out.
Scripture says that God knows the end from the beginning. If you’ve made some mistakes, the good news is that He has already planned a way to get you back on track! Just come to Him with an open and humble heart. Let Him wash you clean and make you new. Your mistakes aren’t bigger than God. He loves you and has a good plan in store for you!

No holding back of horses :]

Isaiah 14:27 says, “The LORD of hosts has purposed, and who will annul it?” (ESV)

God’s plan for your life can’t be stopped by a bad break, someone leaving you, an injustice or a mistake. It’s easy to think that because we aren’t where we want to be in life, or we’ve made poor decisions or faced unfortunate setbacks that God’s plans for our life are over. Nothing you have done or haven’t done can cancel you from your destiny as long as you keep God first place and continually seek Him. When you don’t see a way, God can make a way. When it looks like it’s over, God has the final say.

I am not who I was before.

“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come” (2 Corinthians 5:17, NIV)

Everyone loves to get something new. But as a believer in Jesus, you’re not only getting something new, you are something new. You are a brand new creation! Your eternal being, your spirit, is re-created in Christ. The old is gone, the new has come! You may not necessarily feel new right away. That’s because the Bible tells us that we are to “work out” our salvation. That means you have to retrain your body and mind to act, think, speak and live according to God’s ways instead of the old habits you used to have. Don’t ever get stuck in the rut of thinking, “I’ll never change…that’s just the way I am.” No, the Bible says that the Spirit of God aids us in our weakness. He gives us strength to overcome. He empowers us to live as more than conquerors in this life.

Is there something you want to change in your life today? If you’ve received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then start declaring, “I am a new creation in Christ! I am empowered to overcome! I am equipped to walk in the new, abundant life the Lord has in store for me!”

No to panic mode.

Yesterday, I wasn't all hippy and giddy. I can't chill out. I can't calm down. I was very emotional.

You see, I had my devotion yesterday and I was thinking (too much, I guess) with the FC community. Then I ended up reading Ezekiel 10:1-10 and guess what? I was struck hard.

The real thing.
Those words.
That message.

Chastening.

Something went to me and I was this frustrated. My chest tightens that it hurts. Then situations started to bombard me down to my knees. I don't really understand what had happened. Twas then I asked for prayers from my friends and asked God for peace of mind, as one of them told me.

As soon as I have become reminded of having peace of God, I had myself caught up in the moment and calmed it down. Breathe in, breathe out.

Nothing can really compare talking, taking all these things to God, to have spiritual family beside you, praying for you, and understand how it feels under that situation.

Late night, before I slept, I typed a message in my cellphone out of what happened - my realization for the day.

I lost my confidence in Him.
I lost my strength.
I lost a track of His leading.

But He rescued me.
He brought me back.
He regained my strength;
He refreshed my soul.

So much of how I wanted to be all alone, I ended cradled in His loving, gentle and secured arms.

This was given to me through that experience (from spiritualinspiration.tumblr.com).

“Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see” (Hebrews 11:1, NLT)
So many people today get down and discouraged because they only focus on their present circumstances. They’re constantly dwelling on their problems, what they don’t have, and what’s wrong with them. They don’t realize it, but they’re allowing the enemy to steal their hope. This negative frame of mind is what keeps people from moving forward in life.
Understand today that faith is confidence and assurance about the things we hope for according to the promises of God. Like an arrow, your faith points to the target of hope. If you don’t have hope, that arrow of faith has nothing to aim for. It won’t accomplish anything. But when you keep your hopes up, when you keep expecting and believing, it’s like making that target larger and larger and easier to hit!
Choose today to live with an attitude of expectancy. Don’t focus on your circumstances; focus on your God! Get your hopes up! Take captive every negative thought. As you focus on God’s goodness and faithfulness, you’ll feel that hope inside of you growing. Give your faith a target and move forward confidently in the direction of your dreams!

All of a sudden, those words were blown into life.
Just when I knew about it, God breathed into those words and were has become alive.

Thank you, Jesus.
Thank you my Lord.

Loving what's hate-able.

Today, I just realize how is it really to get out of my shell.

I used to have "my world" and "their world".
When I say "my world", it's everything that's good for me. My world was full of "this is mine", "i want it now", "it's safe here". I never dared to step out of this world.
"Their world" was everything outside mine. These are those things that I hated, the people I don't want to be, everything that will try to hurt me. I shut myself inside "my world" when I know everything's falling apart. I run away. I hide. I deny.

T'was then, I came to know Him.
He made Himself known to me.
He showed His ways to me.
I wanted to see Him but these faces that surrounds me He answered I need to look.
I wanted to hear Him but the thunder, ocean waves, my heartbeat He answered I need to hear.
I wanted to feel Him but in this cold breeze, warm wind hugs, words of love He answered I need to feel.
I wanted to think of Him all day but the Bible He gave to me and said "Let's talk child."

I never imagine to change myself for Someone so important to me.
I never even thought of myself for desperately taking care of my relationship with Him.
He's my life now. Everyday, I wanted to walk together with Him through thick and thin.
I want to be in love with Him forever and ever, 'til the ages cease.

My world was all strictly guarded before. But with one gentle and warm touch, that high and strong wall broke down into pieces. My world that was full of selfishness, darkness, pain, sorrow, regrets found light in Him. As the walls broke down, the I saw the sun shone brightly before me, and there I realize that I am alive. Yes, life, this wonderful gift that was entrusted to me. So beautiful.

Times might get hasty. Days may be rainy and might get me weak. But one thing's for sure. I am saved from the ocean of introvert-ness.

My Master saved me from all this misery.
Praises be to Him forever~
Jesus, my Lord and Savior, my everlasting Praises to You.

Morning Devotion

"THOUGH I WALK THROUGH the valley of shadow of death, I will fear no evil for; for You are with me..." Psalms 23:4

We are just passing by that valley of shadow of death. Everything that is happening to us is a only a mere part of the entire puzzle; this speaks how temporary it'll be. If we keep the faith we've got and raise our hopes high to Him, then He'll be able to work on us, heal us and deliver us. Let the Holy Spirit take over; let us not grieve or quench the Holy Spirit.

"No weapon formed against you shall prosper..." Isaiah 54:17

So no matter where we are in the problems we are going through, God has already made His way ahead of us. Moving forward might be a little difficult but let's not lose any hope. We need to finish the race - He will make us finish the race; let us just focus ourselves to the Maker and Finisher of our faith, that is Jesus.

Everything is going to be AMAZING. This too shall pass. We are in another stage of leveling high what we can do to Glorify God. Let's PRESS ON. There are more victories to fight for. Let's gear up ourselves then by Prayer, Reading the Bible, and settling our goal - that is, to make our God smile. ♥

Let's forget ourselves because This Is Not All About Us.
This Is All About HIM.
He loves us. :D
G'morning.

how to save a life~

happened to hear this song from a friend's mp3.

this song tells me how it is really important to have a friend-a someone that'll be by your side. ugh~ a lot of things happened today. i heard things that definitely made realize what were those tears for. it wasn't just for him i believe but that cry was definitely painful, very painful.

for a while, i wasn't able to think about myself. i'm much concerned with a friend, a father, a family. i really feel pity for the situation. i feel guilty for thinking too much of myself - i was definitely sensitive of how really are the people around me. i fail to be someone who can be reliable at times that they need someone to lean on.

oh well, more prayers, more fasting. i believe everything will be fine. :)

this shall be my stand.

He found me.

Lost and insecure, You found me.

Hana ni Arashi 1 - Read Hana ni Arashi Chapter 1 Online

This is one great story! The progress went well even though to put an end is kind'a all of a sudden. Protagonists were cool like that. I wasn't expecting that to be dramatic in the end - and that's also one point I didn't understand. The way they fight was really this barbaric yet funny, things were exaggerated but it was of great use.

Try reading this manga! Comedy, Romance, Drama :]
